The area is relatively quiet there is a large supermarket nearby only 2 minutes walk from the main crossroads where you can find a varied mix of food and drink. Not too far away from the city centre, also from the villa there are bus services regularly which travel through villages into the main city, here you will find shops, restaurants, bars and cafes.
In another direction is the Guincho beach and charming village of Sintra, the Airport is roughly 25 minutes in a taxi or a car.
